Rogers Pass and Revelstoke. Big Peaks, Big Trees, and Big Snowfalls.

GPG makes Revelstoke home for a reason.

Rogers Pass.

Most backcountry skiers have visited the 'Pass' but few venture away from the well worn ski zones. If you have wandered up to Little Sifton and 8812, or skied the 7 steps and Dome glacier and want more GPG is for you. GPG guides have been skiing in the 'Pass' for decades and are still finding new lines and new ways to link tours together. If you want to ski new terrain in the 'Pass' let us show you whats out there. If you are new to the 'Pass' and want to ski the classic runs Rogers Pass is famous for we would be happy to show why they are so 'classic'. The variety of ski terrain in Rogers Pass makes it almost always great skiing. Deep days are spent in the trees hunting pillow drops and open glades. Clear days are best spent up high climbing peaks, skiing big alpine runs, or sliding into couloirs.

Rogers Pass is in Glacier National Park. All skiing is under your own power, no sled or heli bumps here.

Range: Selkirks

Snowfall: Deep

Terrain: Big Alpine to varied tree skiing

Access options: Ski Touring

Revelstoke.

Two mountain ranges, even more snow, and more access options. While most backcountry skiers have visited Rogers Pass, few have sampled the endless supply of fun ski terrain closer to Revelstoke. The access isn't as obvious and requires more intimate knowledge to get to the really good terrain. The Monashees offer more snow and more featured terrain while the Selkirks near Revelstoke hold some hidden alpine gems. The tree skiing here is world class with big pillow lines and tight chutes. When GPG guides have a day off it is usually spent rallying into the backcountry near Revelstoke on a snowmobile to explore a new line.

Some of the skiing near Revelstoke can be accessed with a snowmobile or helicopter enabling skiing in more remote areas.

Range: Monashees and Selkirks

Snowfall: Deeper

Terrain: Big Alpine, Couloirs, Pillows and chutes in the trees

Access options: Ski Touring, Sled Access, Heli Drops
